Record Diggin in Japan

Money, Money, Money

As I'm going to need a lot of money in Tokyo, I already ordered some Yen (currency of JAPAN).
I ordered 47'000 YEN which is about 500 swiss francs.

They look cute, don't they ? :]]]]

As another measure of security I ordered some Traveller Cheques as well, above all for my stay in Thailand rather than Tokyo, as this City is not supposed to be a place where things get stolen :)))

Lost in Translation

Technical Support, my name is Marcel Iseli, how can I help you ?This phrase has been stuck in my brain for about 9 months! This comes to an end now, as I finished working for sunrise as a Technical supporter for internet /wireline /mobile issues.

What's even better is that I'm going to travel to ASIA for a couple of month. My trip is going to start in Tokyo, Japan. You may think: "What the fuck is he going to do there ?" Well, good question.

I can't even tell you exactly why I'm doing this, I just feel like I have to go there. My love for music is probably one reason, as I know that Tokyo is full of record shops, electronic gear and sick gadgets :] What's more is that I just want to prove myself that I'm capable of travelling in a "12-million-people " city like TOKYO where peeps speak English like I speak
Chinese, which is close to zero.

There are a number of major urban centers where business, shopping, and entertainment are concentrated around major train stations. These include Shinjuku, Otemachi, Ginza, Yurakucho, Shinagwa, Shibuya, just to name a few of them.

Actually I decided to settle down in Shibuya as is it considered to be the place where nightlife is banging and where most of the superb record shops are located. (around 50 record shops in Shibuya Area.)

I found a good hotel on the Internet, but to be honest, the room charges are far from cheap. (100$ for every single night) Nonetheless, I'm going to stay there for 10 or 14 days, as there are no cheaper hotels located in the center of Shibuya.

Presumably my trip is going to start in 8 days and there are still some important questions to think about This is the reason why I'm stopping this thread right now !

Stay tuned! This is just the beginning, it's not the end ! 4 sure :)
